Plant Manager – Injection molding – 20 miles South of Youngstown, OH
I’m working on a Plant Manager search for an injection molding operation 20 miles south of Youngstown.
What makes this opportunity interesting is that you do not need to currently be a Plant Manager to be considered.
My client is open to:
▪️ An experienced Plant Manager who wants to take ownership of a smaller operation where they can have a real impact.
▪️ A strong Molding Manager, Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Operations Manager who knows injection molding and is ready for the next step.
The operation has roughly 70 employees and 12–15 injection molding machines producing plastic pails and lids.
They need someone who understands molding, knows what good processing looks like, can develop people and isn’t afraid to spend time on the plant floor.
This isn’t a position where you’ll sit in an office staring at spreadsheets all day.
There are things that need to be improved. That’s part of the opportunity.
They want someone who can bring consistency and accountability to the operation, develop the team, improve throughput and eventually take full ownership of the day-to-day operation.
They’re also not obsessed with finding someone with every Lean and Six Sigma certification known to mankind.
They want someone who knows injection molding and knows how to lead people.
