Our client is a small, well-established European black masterbatch producer that is looking to expand its presence in the U.S. Their focus is on producing high quality materials to higher-end markets in pharma, auto, packaging and other areas.
They are newer to the U.S. market and are looking for a direct Sales person who has the ability to work without much supervision but still have all the support that he or she needs. They use a proprietary dispersion technology that gives them a 40% concentration of carbon black so compounders who use it don’t have to use much of it. It blends very well into prime resin.
We are in search of someone who is ideally located in the Mid to Eastern half of the U.S. with experience selling plastic colorants, masterbatches or plastic compounds. This person must be very independent who can work from and needs little oversight. Travel will be about 50%. Selling this product is a value-added sell and needs someone who can educate potential customers on the value.
The base salary for this role is up to around $140k plus bonus, medical benefits, 401k and mileage reimbursement. This is a home-based, remote position.
