My client is a global manufacturer of high-performance microplates used in drug discovery, imaging, and analytical testing is expanding its U.S. sales team.
Their proprietary raw materials which are produced by a sister company deliver exceptional optical clarity, flatness, and consistency, allowing scientists to generate precise, reproducible data.
Because the material is inert, it doesn’t interfere with imaging or assay performance—making their products the preferred choice for high-content screening and discovery applications.
This is a technical, consultative sales role calling directly on scientists, researchers, and lab users across pharma, biotech, academia, and government research.
You’ll help customers understand how microplate performance impacts the quality of their imaging and analytical results, positioning the product as a value-driven solution rather than a commodity.
The role is open due to expansion and increased demand across the U.S. You’ll grow business with existing accounts while developing new relationships in the research community.
Responsibilities:
• Drive growth in existing accounts while developing new opportunities.
• Engage directly with scientists to understand their workflows and challenges.
• Communicate technical performance advantages in clear, practical terms.
• Collaborate with equipment manufacturers and lab partners to identify new applications.
• Represent the company at industry events and on-site lab visits (approx. 50% travel).
Ideal Background:
• Experience selling scientific instruments, consumables, or analytical equipment to research labs.
• Understanding of life sciences workflows—imaging, screening, or discovery.
• Comfortable discussing technical details with scientists.
• Proven success developing new business and managing key accounts.
