My client is a well-established manufacturer of packaging machinery with a great reputation for high quality. They sell to some of the most recognizable companies in the world. They are located about 20 minutes SW of downtown Cleveland.
They are looking for two positions:
- Controls Engineer experienced in the design of automated machinery, control panels, and controls.
- Mechanical Design Engineer who has mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical experience in manufacturing.
The Controls position plays a vital role in designing and developing systems for manufacturing operations. This may include design layout, materials and information flow, machine placement or increasing production efficiency. Must be strong in strong in electronic controls, PLC’s & HMI’s, automated machinery, control panels and controls.
The Mechanical position will design and develop electro-mechanical sub systems and components using SolidWorks 3D modeling, work on new projects, troubleshoot production engineering problems. Engineering degrees for both positions are highly preferred.
