This is a retained search for 5 year old company that is ready to go into full production. They are hiring their very first Sales person. They have a patented process using thermoplastic/composite tape that is used for light-weighting and making plastic parts stronger and saving OEM’s significant money. This technology can be used in many industries but they want to start off focusing on the Automotive industry. Their initial proof of concepts have been very successful and there is a big demand for the product.
The founders of this company believe that the Sales people should be some of the highest paid people within the company. They are offering a base salary with uncapped commission potential.
Since this company is currently small and this is the first Sales position, the person they hire will be initially responsible for everything. This will entail everything from Sales & Marketing to establishing processes and procedures and everything in between. The plan is that this position will grow into the Director of Sales role.
Experience needed for this role:
- Selling into the automotive industry, Tiers and OEM’s is a must.
- Thermoplastic tape (APL/ATL) is ideal.
- Composite part manufacturing if not tape experience.
- Plastic parts molding (injection, compression, thermoforming) if not tape experience
Being offered is a base salary paying up to $110k plus uncapped commissions which are forecasted to be $90k for the first year plus equity. 100% of medical premiums are paid for employees and 50% is paid for the rest of the family with $0 deductibles. Paid vacation, paid holidays, flexible work from home schedule, company paid office expenses and mileage is being offered.
