Our client is a small, well-established European black masterbatch producer that is expanding its presence in the U.S. Their focus is on producing high quality materials to higher-end markets in pharma, auto, packaging and other areas. They are newer to the U.S. market and are looking for someone to head up a small but growing team here in the US and also a small, established Sales team along with customer service in Europe. They use a proprietary dispersion technology that gives them a 40% concentration of carbon black so compounders who use it don’t have to use much of it. It blends very well into prime resin. We are in search of someone who is ideally located in Eastern Time Zone or perhaps the Central Time zone. Along with managing Sales people, this person MUST have experience selling plastic colorants, masterbatches, plastic compounds or prime resin. This person must be very independent who can work from and needs little oversight. Travel will be about 50%. Selling this product is a value-added sell and needs someone who can educate potential customers on the value and teach and lead the Sales teams to do the same. The base salary for this role is commensurate with experience, and also includes bonus, medical benefits, 401k and mileage reimbursement. This is a home-based, remote, US-based position.
