Plant Engineer/Assistant/Plant Manager/Dir. Ops Canada
My client is THE world-wide leader within their niche of the flexible packaging industry. They have experienced significant growth over the last several years and are very profitable.
They have a smaller plant that is a 45 minute drive North of Toronto, Canada. Due to their extreme growth, they are in very beginning stages of either building or looking for a new plant in the same area because their current plant has no room to expand. They will be doubling the size of this location.
Right now their current Plant Manager has health issues that may preclude him from being able to work anymore. This role will be responsible for assisting in the Plant Manager’s job and helping with the move to a new location. If/when the time comes for the Plant Manager to retire; this person would take over the Plant Manager’s role.
My client is also looking at this new person to not only be able to step up into the Plant Manager’s role within most likely a relatively short period of time, but they are also doing succession planning for the Dir. Operations who will retire in 3 years. They would like this person to be trained to take over the Dir. Operation’s position in 3 years.
REQUIRED: An Engineering degree and prior Management experience within flexible packaging or related industries in PRINTING, SLITTING, LAMINATING, PLASTIC FILM, PAPER and FOIL.
Being offered is a base salary commensurate with experience, plus bonus as well as a great working environment and very successful company!
Do you happen to know of any top notch individuals that I might talk to about this position? It doesn’t have to be someone who’s necessarily looking for a job, just someone who knows flexible packaging in the GTA.
